Hi! I’m a former news cameraman and drone operator who spent over a decade filming in Southeast Asia, capturing everything from ancient temples to breaking news from the sky.

Back then, drones weren’t just tools — they were mind-blowing. I saw first-hand how they transformed storytelling, agriculture, and even archaeological mapping. But the thing that stuck with me most? The pure joy on kids’ faces in the villages when the drone lifted off. Wide eyes. Big smiles. Total amazement.

Now back in Ireland with four kids of my own, I’ve started FlyKidsDrones to share that same excitement with a new generation.

Our drones are fun, safe, and beginner-friendly — the perfect introduction to flying for kids. Whether it's for a birthday, holiday, or just getting outside and off screens, learning to fly a drone builds confidence, coordination, and curiosity.
